Blogging - the original social network

In amongst the noise created by Facebook and Twitter, it's easy to forget the original social network - Blogging.

The two key blogging tools in the UK are Blogger (owned by Google) and WordPress - and they have two major benefits. First they are part of an existing network of bloggers - you immediately become part of an existing community that offers high volumes of traffic. Second they are an ideal way of delivering the up-to-date content that search engines love.

Blogging isn’t just for individuals or celebraties, some of the most popular blogs are commercial blogs that use their reach to promote there companies products and business.
